Howell Engineering was fortunate to have the opportunity to obtain Land Development approval for two separate projects to allow John Rock to expand into Sadsbury Township.

John Rock is one of the largest pallet manufacturing plants in the United States. Each project consisted of an 88,000 SF building along with loading docks and parking areas associated with them. Howell Engineering was responsible for securing approvals from the Township, including a Lot Line Change, Land Development, and a Zoning Variance. Approvals were also secured from the County Conservation District and the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) due to its proximity to the Chester County Airport. Construction was completed for Building #1 in 2019 and Building #2 in 2022.
