Ashers Farm is a 30 Lot Residential Subdivision located in Crownsville Maryland which was one of the first developments to utilize a Bio-Swale to treat roadway runoff via gravity and rate control management.

The intimate design of the 30 large homesites presented unique design challenges in addressing Forest Conservation Measures and developing innovative stormwater management practices to preserve the intimate feel of the neighborhood. This community is just minutes away from downtown Annapolis and the design was able to preserve the site’s rural history. The design included community walking trials through the preserved wooded areas of the development.
